BLACKBOX was started as a collaborative architecture practice in bangalore by architects Deepak S D (B.Arch, R.V.C.E.), Gunashekar (B.Arch, R.V.C.E.) and Sushant D S (B.Arch, R.V.C.E) in the year 2011.Since its inception we’ve had a singular desire to explore the relationships between building and nature with particular emphasis on quality design and execution.

The firm takes a deeply contextual approach to its work and combines this with a strong focus on the tactile and sensory qualities of the space. Architectural expressions are distilled to capture the spiritual essence of ‘place’. Its architecture and interiors are inspired by the cultural and climatic nuances of its context, integrating landscape, water features and blurring the distinction between interior and exterior.
